Passwords

Sometimes life can be so overwhelming!! I feel like my life is cram-packed with "stuff" which leaves me no time to breath. Here lately it seems that I need my computer more and more to do things. I love technology and would not live without it but have you ever noticed that EVERYTHING you do on your computer requires a password??? I mean really....bank account, blog, e-mail, various memberships, debit card, school work, etc....the list could go on forever. Now I understand the necessity but I am lost in a sea of passwords. So not only do I have all of these matters to take care of with technology, I now have to remember EVERY password for EVERY account I may have. I am drowning so fast! Any suggestions on how to keep them organized and still secure? I am serious, it has become so overwhelming the last two weeks that I am completely losing it. None of them are the same because each log in requires its unique criteria for passwords.

Someone help me. I am drowning in mine, yours, ours, and theirs!!!

  1. I have a pink piece of paper at my house that is sacred. Ciara knows never to touch that pink piece of paper. She can hear me running through the house screaming, "Help me find the pink piece of paper. I need it!!." It holds the passwords to my life!!

  2. I am with you on the passwords!! I use a different variation of the same password on everything. That way I only have to remember one crucial piece of info...but in which order or capitals are all different. This has helped me alot.

  3. I have an important information sheet that I typed up with passwords, etc. saved on my Microsoft Word. I refer to it often, and only my hubby knows about it so that if he needs to get to it - he can. Sounds weird maybe - but also put a copy with our will.

  4. Do you still use the PALM? Remember, there is a password keeper program on there. You can store all the passwords in that program and then just remember one password for that program to get into it.
