Garrett took his Hamp pig to Fort Worth and placed 7th in the middle weight class. About 9:40 this morning I finally called to see if anything was happening (I can't stand to be home and not know what is happening.) Lonnie said that the pig had just been pulled and he was in a holding pen. After the judge was through looking at all the other pigs he came and let out all those he penned into the arena. Lonnie called again to say that Garrett had been penned again for final placing. (That is a good thing!) When it was all over he placed 7th out of 59 pigs. We are so excited for him. When showing pigs you just never know. It is all up to the decision of the judge at that minute. Wish him luck down the road!
